It’s time for the 7th Annual “EMPTY BOWLS” event -- a grassroots effort to raise money for our local Grand Prairie Food and Clothing Coop to help feed needy families
It’s time for the 7th Annual “EMPTY BOWLS” event — a grassroots effort to raise money for our local Grand Prairie Food and Clothing Coop to help feed needy families in Grand Prairie.
“EMPTY BOWLS” is an international art-and-service project to fight hunger through the creation and sale of hand-made pottery bowls: THINK GLOBALLY, ACT LOCALLY.
Grand Prairie ISD is proud to partner with the City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts and Recreation Department for this annual Fall event!
After all the preparation, construction, and firings, the BOWLS are (almost) ready.
Join us at 110 West Main, next to the Farmer’s Market in Grand Prairie, and receive a delicious bowl of soup with your donation of $10 or more.
The “Empty Bowls” are made by the very talented GPISD art students and faculty.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to our local Grand Prairie Food and Clothing Co-op.
We hope you can join us: 8am – 1pm, Saturday, December 2, at 110 West Main Street, next to the Farmer’s Market in downtown Grand Prairie!
