ABOUT SENIOR GAMES

The Grand Prairie Parks, Arts and Recreation Department is ecstatic to host the Inaugural 2018 Grand Prairie Senior Games! Striving to be a frontrunner in health, wellness and quality of life issues for the Active Senior, we expect this event to become an annual signature event.

The Senior Games will provide The Epic experience and provide fitness, fellowship, fun and competition.  Grand Prairie is the proud to be home to some of America’s premiere recreation facilities.  We believe that we have ruptured the landscape of community recreation with the nation’s premiere 50+ Active Adult Facility… The Summit.   The newest jewel will be “The Epic” our 128,000 sf. recreation center which we say is Recreation Reimagined.  Both of these facilities will play host to events over the three days of competition as well as several other first-class facilities that are a part of our “Gold Medal” team.

The Grand Prairie Senior Games will provide adults over the age of 50 a competitive & friendly atmosphere through recreational events where the highest level of sportsmanship is on display.

We are committed to make the first Grand Prairie Senior games awesome.   We hope this continues for years to come.
