EVENT UPDATE: Due to the flooding conditions at Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake this week’s Movies on the Beach – Trolls will be moved to Epic Central (GrandLawn located on the grassy lawn behind The Epic). The movie and time will remain the same.

Loyd Park is excited to continue our 2019 season of Movies on the Beach!

Movies start at sundown around 9pm each night and concessions will be available for cash purchase. $10/vehicle entry fee to the park ($20 on holiday weekends), movies are FREE!

Free All American Lunch: Immediately following ceremony
Join us to pay tribute to those Grand Prairie service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. The recently dedicated Brass Honor Bell rung after the reading of each name of our service personnel lost during the many battles for our freedom. Activities will include a fly over of AT-6 vintage aircraft. The wings on the planes produced here in Grand Prairie. The Grand Prairie Police Honor Guard will honor our service personnel with a 21-gun salute and taps played. Upon conclusion of the ceremony, an All American Lunch of hot dogs and lemonade provided by the Grand Prairie Rotary Clubs.
