August 3 – The Vinyl Stripes
Rockabilly, Rock and Roll, Hot Rods, Drive-In movies, Car Hops, Surf Music, Early Elvis and Sun Records! It’s that classic sound and look of the 50’s and 60’s that influences the Texas based band “The Vinyl Stripes!” With their skinny ties, pork pie hats, Gretsch guitars, slappin’ standup bass and retro rocking drums, The Vinyl Stripes perform those great classics. The Vinyl Stripes also have many new original songs that even sound like they were from those long ago rocking days that you will love!
August 10 – Blane Howard
Blane Howard is a country music artist and songwriter making the grade across the board within the country music industry, at country radio and among its fans. This Arkansas native embraces the sound he was raised on by infusing the styles of country music greats (Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill & Randy Travis) with his own contemporary flair. His relatable lyrics, powerful vocals, and entertaining shows are winning him fans around the world. Blane has opened for Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Rodney Atkins, Hunter Hays, Granger Smith, Charlie Daniels Band, Travis Tritt, and others.
August 17 – Memphis Soul
Memphis Soul is an 8 piece Motown and classic dance band. The band features lead male and female vocals, trumpet, sax, guitar/vocals, bass, keys, and drums. Memphis Soul has opened for, backed and performed with notable musicians including Mary Wilson, Sister Sledge, members of Earth Wind and Fire, and Morris Day and the Time.
August 24 – Mood Swings All-Star Jazz Combo
