The Good Link Linear Park Trail will be closed at the area around Lower Tarrant (outlined in red) for the joint City / Dallas County Wildlife project construction. The contractor plans to close this on September 18^th 2023 until the construction in this area is complete enough to allow safe passage across Lower Tarrant.  There will be advance warning signs of the sidewalk being closed placed at the exits (marked with the red X) to both Mike Lewis and Waggoner Parks where the trail leads towards the closure and construction area.  There will be NO ACCESS to or across Lower Tarrant and trail users will have to return back to the park they came from. The construction area will not be safe for trail users to cross, which is why this action is being taken.
